As I approach my 70th year of life, I find myself musing on the artistic footprint I will leave behind on this earth. In an effort to compress my lifetime production of trivial ephemera, I decided on this blog. A photographic journey through the State of Oaxaca, Mexico, to celebrate the Day of the Dead (el Dia de los Muertos). It is the time when the living decorate their loved ones' tombs in the cemeteries and spend time with family members buried there, sharing offerings of food and drink with friends and relatives and the occasional visitor from the north.
